I believe I speak for most of us when I say that we can never have enough (useful) kitchen tools. Especially those that make our lives a little easier in the kitchen, right?

Meet my new best friend in the kitchen. Some call it the spiralizer, the zoodler (an affectionate term for a zucchini-based noodle) or the spiral vegetable slicer. However you choose to identify to this nifty apparatus, know one thing: Your vegetable lifestyle is about to transform.

Anything I can do to help me get more vegetables into our diet is great, especially when everything that gets spiralized is naturally free of gluten and grains. It’s perfect for those of us who follow a grain-free diet, need to make gluten-free meals, or just want a fun way to eat more vegetables.

You can spiralize apples, beets, broccoli, butternut squash, cabbage, carrots, celery root (celeriac), chayote, cucumbers, jicama, kohlrabi, onions, parsnips, pears, plantains, radish, rutabaga, sweet potatoes, taro roots, turnips, white potatoes, zucchini, and more!

I used to use the blue one the same you are using to make Som Tam, Villa market has a different one which I got also but not working so well... it is only when I got back to France for Christmas that I got the chance to get the proper machine (the one you see in the pics above) OMG this was the best gift I made to myself for christmas... Yes really you don't need much to please me!!! It is soo easy to use.

Running some errands earlier this week in Market Village, went to Daiso in the basement and discover that they have finally one here in Hua Hin... it looks like a Pencil Sharpener... And it is only 60thb.... Ok you will need to use some strenght from your arms to maake the noodles... but heh it just give you some additional workout so why not?!

I put in the link below the complete reference to spiralize any vegetables:

Please share on SLIMher FB page your next recipe spirilizing your veggies!!! I love to see your creation in the kitchen!!
