SPIRULINA PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE - Sip & Snack Saturday

Let's Sip some Spirulina today with this delicious Smoothie...

Just to remind you that Spirulina is:

  • Excellent source of vitamins and minerals including iron, B12 and iodine

  • Needed for liver rejuvenation and detoxing

  • Helps to remove heavy metals from the body

  • Protective against radiation

  • Helps builds new blood

  • Inhibits the growth of fungi, bacteria, and yeast

  • Boosts immune function

  • Contains more chlorophyll than any other foods

  • Anti-inflammatory properties

  • Promotes growth and repair of tissues, including nerve tissues

  • High in GLA fatty acids, good for hormonal balance and cardiovascular function

  • Contains predigested protein, which your body is able to easily utilize

  • Helps relieve symptoms of hypoglycemia and improves blood sugar balance

  • Helpful for allergies and allergic reactions

  • Helps fight fatigue

The recipe make 1 to 2 servings... For me it is soo good That I keep all for myself ;-)

Ingredients:

- 2 cups fresh vanilla almond or coconut milk if you want a lighter version go for Fresh

Coconut water

- 1 banana, frozen

- 1 cup pineapple

- 1 cup greens (kale, spinach)

- 1 Tbsp chia seeds

- 1 tsp spirulina - 4-5 fresh mint leaves

Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a blender and buzz until smooth!

Enjoy!
