You always wonder how to use and/or cook White cabbage? You might even not be enjoying much the taste, or you are simply trying to cut down on your meat weekly intake... here I have the solution for you...
This roasted cabbage steaks recipe is simple, fast and delicious. With a sweet-savory balsamic and honey glaze, these thick cabbage slices are the best to serve with some mixed salad on the side…
Make 2 Servings.

Ingredients:
1 head savoy cabbage or green cabbage, cut into 1cm thick rounds
3 tablespoons olive oil
¾ teaspoon himalyan salt
½ teaspoon ground pepper
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon of fresh thyme or provencale herbs
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush a rimmed baking sheet with 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil.
2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey.
3. Arrange the cabbage slices in a single layer and brush with the honey balsamic vinaigrette. Season with himalyan salt and ground pepper and sprinkle with thyme or provencale herbs.
4. Roast until cabbage slices are tender and edges are golden, it will take 25 to 30 minutes just keep an eye on them.
